URL is known as Uniform Resource Locator which is a protocol for specifying addresses on the Internet. It is an address that identifies a particular file on the internet, usually consisting of the protocol, as http, followed by the domain name.
HTML is known as HyperText Markup Language which is a structure text and multimedia documents and to set up hypertext links between documents, used extensively on the World Wide Web. It also tell the Web browser how to display a Web page's words and images for the user.
Javascript ia a scripting language which is developed by Netscape to enable Web authors to design interactive sites. Javascript also interact with HTML source code, enabling Web authors to spice up their sites with dynamic content.
Applets is a little application that works from within a larger application program. An applet has limited features but only requires limited memory resources that is portable between operating systems.

Blogs is a web site which are usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video.
Wikis is a website that allows the creation and editing of any number of interlinked web pages via a web browser using a simplified markup language. Wiki is unusual among group communication mechanisms in that it allows the organization of contributions to be edited in addition to the content itself.
FTP is know as File Transfer Protocol which allows you to transfer files between two computers on the Internet. FTP is most commonly used to download a file from a server using the Internet or to upload a file to a server.
Plug-in
Plug-in is a set of software components that adds specific abilities to a larger software application. It is widely used in image editing programs such as Photoshop to add some special effect.
Filters
A program that accepts a certain type of data as input, transforms it in some manner, and then outputs the transformed data. For example, a program that sorts names is a filter because it accepts the names in unsorted order, sorts them, and then outputs the sorted names.

Internet security is a branch of computer security specifically related to the Internet. Its objective is to establish rules and measures to use against attacks over the Internet. The Internet represents an insecure channel for exchanging information leading to a high risk of intrusion or fraud.
